Position Summary:
The event medicine paramedic or registered nurse will respond to emergencies at the event location and be responsible for triage and delegation of care in the first aid triage stations. The paramedic or registered nurse will be strategically placed to roam within certain areas and to respond quickly to emergencies. He/she is responsible for delegating, coordinating, and managing all aspects of medical care and services provided to the patient in a safe, timely, cost-effective, and respectful manner. The Event Medicine Paramedic or Registered Nurse will work in collaboration with other medical partners to ensure safety and quality of care.?
Position Qualification:
Paramedics:
5 year of related experience in the field.
Nurses:
1 year of related experience in nursing. Licensure, Certification, Registration
RN:
? Registered Nurse in the state of Tennessee or Multi-State Compact License? ACLS? Advanced Cardiac Life Support? ? BLS? Basic Life Support? PALS? Pediatric Advanced Life Support? ATCN or TNCC? Advanced Trauma Care for nurses? Trauma Nursing Core Course?
Paramedic:
ACLS? Advanced Cardiac Life Support? ? ? BLS? Basic Life Support? ? ? PALS? Pediatric Advanced Life Support? ? PHTLS or ITLS? Prehospital Trauma Life Support or International Trauma Life Support? Licensed Paramedic? Licensed Paramedic in the state of Tennessee?
