Job Summary and Responsibilities As a Paramedic, you will provide advanced emergency medical care and transport to critically ill or injured patients in pre-hospital and inter-facility settings.

Every day you will rapidly assess scenes, evaluate conditions, and administer life-saving interventions, while safely operating emergency vehicles and documenting care.

Personal, crew, patient and bystander's safety: scene size up, emergency scenes are dynamic events; the paramedic should always look out first for their safety and then the safety of others. Patient Assessment and delivery of care: provides patient care functions according to protocol, procedure and written directives to level of certification. Performs a patient assessment throughout a call on every patient encountered, providing appropriate treatment and transportation decisions within the PI scope of practice. a. ALS transports b.
