As a Flight Paramedic, youll be part of a mission dedicated to elevating community health while upholding the highest safety standards. With over 22,000 patient transports annually from more than 80 bases nationwide, this role offers you the exciting prospect of making a meaningful difference where it matters most—providing critical care and swift transport for those in need. Responsibilities Execute specialized functions and complex assessments, diagnoses, therapies, and emergency treatments during patient transport via rotor-wing, fixed-wing, or ground. Accurately document assessments, treatments, stabilization, and transport information, including complete billing documentation. Foster effective, timely communication between management, as well as with internal and external customers. Engage in activities that support PR and spaneting efforts. Continuously enhance your knowledge by participating in mandatory meetings, chart reviews, equipment reviews, skill labs, and clinical rotations. Fulfill all annual competency requirements to maintain proficiency. Operate under the program's Medical Directors licensure and adhere to local Department of Health Services regulations. Requirements Active paramedic certification in the state of employment. At least three years of current experience in a busy 911/pre-hospital service (five years preferred). Current BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP, andPHTLS/ITLS
certifications; NRP and instructor certifications preferred. FP-C certification obtained within 24 months of hire. Preferred experience in flight or transport. Successful completion of the education/orientation program. Proficient human relations skills for interacting with all personnel levels and customers. Basic computer skills for email and electronic charting required. Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field preferred. Ability to pass a pre-placement physical, functional capacity exam, drug screening, and background check. Must maintain a body weight below 235 pounds. Benefits & Perks Competitive salary range of $66,000- 81,000.
