Job Description

Paramedic Part-Time Paramedic Part-Time Bring your passion to Texas Health so we are Better + Together Work location: Texas Health Fort Worth 1301 Pennsylvania Avenue in Fort Worth, TX 76104. Work hours: 2x shifts per week part-time, 7:00AM-7:00PM and includes rotating weekends and holidays. Here's What You Need
Education:
High School diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
Experience:
Three (3) months recent Paramedic experience or completion of a Paramedic Internship is required. One (1) year of Paramedic experience is preferred. Licenses and Certifications EMT-P
  • Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic upon hire required LP
  • Licensed Paramedic Upon Hire required ACLS
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support upon hire required, BCLS
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support upon hire required. PALS
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 60 days of hire required. CPI
  • Crisis Prevention Intervention training within 60 days of hire required.

Professional Development Participates in change; understands, promotes, and values ed evidence-based practices, quality improvement, and/or research, and utilizes them in practice; follows guidelines and recommendations defined by regulatory or professional practice agencies. Provides daily care that achieves outcome targets for core measures, NPSG, employee satisfaction, patient satisfaction, NDNQI and other unit/organizational metrics; demonstrates commitment to lifelong learning and development; demonstrates a commitment to advancing the professional practice of paramedicine; incorporates ethical principles from the Texas Department of State Health Services EMT Code of Ethics.
