Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Paramedic to join our emergency medical services team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in emergency medicine, patient assessment, and critical care transport, with a commitment to providing exceptional pre-hospital care. As a Paramedic, you will be responsible for delivering prompt, professional medical assistance in diverse environments, ensuring patient safety and comfort while adhering to established protocols and standards.
Shifts Available:
12s/24/s36s/48s/72s Earn up to $ 146,432 Responsibilities Provide advanced emergency medical care to patients in pre-hospital settings, including trauma, medical emergencies, and urgent care situations. Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and physiological evaluations to determine appropriate treatment plans. Manage airway techniques and perform airway management procedures to ensure adequate respiration and oxygenation. Administer medications via injection or other methods in accordance with medical protocols and physician directives. Operate emergency vehicles safely while adhering to traffic laws and driving regulations; perform heavy lifting when necessary during patient extrication or equipment handling. Utilize critical care skills such as venipuncture, medication administration, and aseptic techniques to stabilize patients for transport. Collaborate with hospital staff during patient handoff at Level I Trauma Centers or other specialized facilities, ensuring seamless continuity of care. Maintain detailed documentation of all patient interactions, treatments administered, and vital signs in compliance with regulatory standards. Skills Extensive experience in critical care environments, including hospital settings such as emergency rooms or intensive care units. Proficiency in triage procedures and prioritization of multiple patients based on severity of condition. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and emergency medicine protocols. Skilled in airway management techniques, vital signs monitoring, and advanced patient assessment methods. Experience with DME (durable medical equipment) use and maintenance for patient stabilization. Ability to perform physical examinations accurately and efficiently under pressure. Familiarity with Level II trauma center operations and procedures; experience at Level I Trauma Centers is highly desirable. Competence in driving emergency vehicles safely over varied terrains while managing heavy lifting tasks during rescue operations. Excellent communication skills for effective coordination with team members, hospital staff, and patients' families. $30.00 - $32.00 per hour
