Want to slow down a little and come to an agency that runs about 1500 calls between 2 jurisdictions with 3 full time and 2 back up trucks? Then maybe coming to ISM and working for Ochiltree General Hospital EMS and Booker Hospital District EMS is for you. ISM staffs and manages these 2 neighboring governmental agencies with the same staff, the same protocols and the same equipment. Our unique private public partnership enables the best of both worlds. Our unique pay structure has our paramedics making $100,000 or more a year with a very reasonable call volume of 3-5 calls per day system wide. Duties The Paramedic is the senior member of the ambulance crew. The paramedic is responsible for providing appropriate care to all patients in this pre-hospital setting. Paramedics perform advanced airway procedures including; RSI, DSI, Surgical Airways, Finger Thoracotomy, and Ventilator Management Paramedics provide advanced procedures including medication administration, surgical procedures, Vent Management (invasive and non invasive). Paramedics collaborate with hospital staff and emergency room personnel to facilitate seamless patient transitions. Experience Don't have a lot of experience?
