Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic (EMT-P) to join our dynamic emergency response team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in critical care and emergency medicine, demonstrating exceptional patient assessment, airway management, and medical procedures. As an EMT-P, you will deliver advanced pre-hospital care, manage complex medical situations, and coordinate with hospital teams to ensure seamless patient transfer and treatment. This role offers an opportunity to make a vital difference in urgent care scenarios while working within a fast-paced, professional environment committed to excellence and patient safety. 12s/24s/36s/48s Available Responsibilities Provide advanced emergency medical care to patients in pre-hospital settings, including trauma, medical emergencies, and critical care transports. Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and physiological evaluations to determine appropriate interventions. Manage airway patency through advanced techniques such as intubation and ventilation support while ensuring aseptic procedures. Administer medications via injection or other routes following established protocols, including medication administration for pain management and sedation. Operate emergency vehicles safely under various driving conditions, adhering to traffic laws and safety standards while managing heavy lifting and physical exertion during patient handling. Collaborate with hospital staff during triage and patient transfer processes at Level I Trauma Centers or Level II Trauma Centers to ensure continuity of care. Utilize medical terminology accurately for documentation, communication, and reporting purposes; maintain detailed records of all patient interactions and treatments performed. Demonstrate proficiency in physiology and anatomy knowledge to interpret vital signs and physiological responses during emergencies. Apply critical care techniques in complex situations requiring advanced airway management, venipuncture, or other invasive procedures. Maintain compliance with health regulations by practicing proper DME (Durable Medical Equipment) use and infection control protocols. Qualifications Valid EMT-Paramedic certification with current licensure in the applicable jurisdiction. Extensive experience in critical care environments such as hospital emergency rooms or intensive care units is highly desirable. Proven expertise in airway management, ventilation support, medication administration, and patient assessment. Prior experience working within Level I or Level II trauma centers preferred; familiarity with triage protocols essential. Strong knowledge of emergency medicine procedures, physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology. Demonstrated ability to perform venipuncture, injections, physical examinations, and critical care transport effectively under pressure. Ability to operate emergency vehicles safely while managing heavy lifting tasks during patient extrication or transfer. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams in urgent care settings. Physical fitness required to handle demanding tasks associated with emergency response work; commitment to ongoing training and professional development.
