Job Description

Lumexa Imaging is one of the country's largest providers of outpatient medical imaging. With over 5,000 team members and more than 185 outpatient imaging centers across 13 states, our team conducts more than 4 million outpatient studies annually. We are the partner of choice for health systems and radiologists, delivering best-in-class clinical excellence, operations, and state-of-the-art technology across our platform. Gateway Diagnostic Imaging is seeking a full-time Paramedic to sit onsite to facilitate contrast injections at multiple locations including our center in Weatherford, TX. This is a full-time position working Monday - Friday (8:00am - 5:00pm)
Job Summary:
If confronted with an adverse event (contrast reaction, infiltration or situation that requires the radiologist), the Emergency Medical Technician or Paramedic should immediately use the Teams audio/video functionality to alert the supervising radiologist. The radiologist will assist with assessment of the patient and provide appropriate treatment instruction, including any medication administration. It is also the responsibility of the on-site contractor to ensure 911 has been called when necessary. Items listed must be complete prior to onsite coverage. Provides documentation of Certificate of Liability Insurance and current medical license Completes MRI Safety Screening form Review of Emergency Response and MRI Safety training
Requirements:
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification Previous experience as a certified EMT or Paramedic Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Why Gateway?
