Job Summary:
As a Paramedic at South Davis Community Hospital, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality medical services to patients of all ages. Working in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for assessing patients' conditions, administering medications, and providing essential treatments to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' medical conditions and perform physical examinations
  • Administer medications and treatments following prescribed protocols
  • Monitor vital signs and continuously assess patients' well-being
  • Operate and maintain medical equipment
  • Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals to convey patient information accurately
  • Adhere to established procedures and guidelines for patient care
  • Maintain detailed and precise documentation of all patient interactions and treatments
Experience:
  • Prior experience working in a hospital or healthcare setting is preferred
  • Proficiency in medical terminology, medication administration, and patient care practices
  • Certification in Basic Life Support
BLS, ACLS & PALS. CCP
is preferred but not required
  • Competency in venipuncture, triage procedures, and pulmonary knowledge
