Job Description

Roane General Hospital (RGH) in Spencer, WV a 60 bed Critical Access Hospital with 35 SNF/ICF beds, 25 acute care beds, Level IV Trauma Emergency Department with ARC certification, four Rural Health Clinics, including a Walk-in clinic is currently seeking applicants for a Paramedic for RGH Full time. The successful applicant will be responsible for back up 911 services to the community, interfacility transports, and emergency department staffing within appropriate scope and licensure. Successful applicants must follow all state guidelines and treatment protocols in the execution of patient care duties.
Qualifications:
Applicant must be licensed and certified as an Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic (EMT-P) in the state of West Virginia (WV) and hold current certifications in CPR/BLS, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). Other certifications of benefit and considered upon review. Emergency services experience required. Applicants must have strong computer skills, strong work ethic, be a motivated self-starter with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced setting. Applicant must be able to work a flexible schedule including all shifts and some weekends. Applicants must have a strong focus upon patient-centered care and customer service with strong communication skills and clinical expertise.
