Annual Salary Range:
$58,406.40 - $86,153.60
Qualifications Education:
Requires a Master's degree in Social Work, Education, Family/Child Development, Psychology, or other field related to child and/or behavioral health. Preferred Licensed Master's Social Worker.
Experience:
Must have prior experience working with children from birth through age 18 and their families. Prior case management and/or care coordination experience preferred. Experience working within a healthcare or behavioral health setting is preferred.
Certification/Licensure:
Must have a valid fingerprint clearance card issued by the Arizona Department of Public Safety or submit a completed Affidavit at the time of hire. Must complete fingerprint clearance card application within seven (7) days of hire date. Must present actual card within 90 days of applying for the fingerprint clearance card. Requires BLS issued by the American Heart Association within 30 days of the position start date. Licensure and/or relevant professional certifications preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Must demonstrate the ability to be culturally sensitive and appropriate in working with disadvantaged, underserved, and underrepresented communities. Must have a working knowledge and experience in using medical and mental health diagnoses preferred. This includes acute, chronic, and traumatic illnesses/injuries, psychiatric, medical, and social problems. Requires the ability to read, write, and speak effectively in English, including professional-level grammar, spelling, and punctuation usage. Bilingual in Spanish or a refugee language is preferred. Requires basic computer word processing skills (e.g., formatting, editing, printing, composing email, internet searches, etc.) to be able to successfully navigate through an electronic medical record using a computer. Must comprehensively understand community, education, social, and governmental systems and resources available to support families. Must be a self-starter and able to work with limited management direction.
