Clinic Facilitator - Bowyer Oncology & Treatment Center University of California - Los Angeles Health United States, California, Los Angeles May 13, 2026 Description
In this role you will serve as a key member of the patient care team by providing administrative support to patients, families, and providers within the Bowyer Oncology Center. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Act as a primary communication hub for the clinic, managing high-volume phone lines with professionalism, compassion, and excellent communication skills Perform seamless "warm" transfers by connecting callers to the appropriate oncology sub-specialty while clearly communicating patient needs Assist patients in navigating the clinic phone system and accessing the appropriate care teams and services Coordinate and schedule clinic appointments, chemotherapy treatments, and related ancillary testing and procedures Support efficient clinic operations through accurate coordination of patient requests and provider schedules Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining sensitivity to the needs of oncology patients and families Collaborate closely with clinical and administrative teams to ensure timely and coordinated patient care
Salary Range:
$30.36-$43.49/hourly QualificationsRequired:
Previous experience working in a medical setting Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures Experience in the use of computers, and Word, Excel programs Excellent customer service skills, both in person and via telephone Ability to work and prioritize in a fast paced medical environment Excellent communication skills Bilingual in SpanishSimilar jobs in Los Angeles, CA
