Eligibility for benefits may vary by location and is determined by employment status Job Summary Full Time, Days The Maternal Neonatal Nurse Navigator functions as a member of the multidisciplinary team. He/she will guide a mother through pregnancy assisting with all of the subspecialty appointments and tours. In addition, she will provide emotional support, educational materials, and be a first line contact for the families for all of their needs. The nurse navigator will communicate throughout the pregnancy with the referring physician. She/he will serve as a daily liaison between the patients, their family, the medical center, surgeons and staff. This role will also include community outreach projects.

Two to three years of nursing experience in labor and delivery.
