As a Companion, you will serve as a comforting presence, assisting with
PLANNING COMMUNITY OUTINGS.
This paid position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patient experiences while working in a dynamic healthcare environment. Duties Offer emotional support and companionship to patients, alleviating feelings of loneliness or anxiety. Assist with basic patient care activities such as mobility, Monitor patient well-being, report changes
IF ANY TO STAFF.
Experience Prior experience in home and community care settings is highly desirable. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to respond effectively in emergency situations. Previous hospital experience or familiarity with patient care routines enhances your ability to succeed in this role. Experience with critical care transport operations is a plus, demonstrating ability to assist during urgent transfers. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect compassionately with diverse patient populations. Knowledge of hospital protocols and safety procedures ensures high-quality support and compliance. $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
