Job Description The Service Ambassador greets and welcomes all guests/visitors/staff at designated locations, provides an excellent customer service experience, and may assist in a variety of areas of the hospital/long-term care facility, including the Emergency Department or dining areas. Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by Aramark location based on client requirements and business needs. Job Responsibilities- Maintains the privacy, safety, and dignity of each customer by observing client confidentiality and by rigorously adhering to safety and sanitation standards
- Ensures timely response to guest/customer request for information or assistance, calls out any delays or other problems that are identified
- Maintains friendly, efficient, positive customer service demeanor toward customers, clients, and co-workers.
- Responsive to customer needs.
- Adheres to the established policies addressing confidentiality of patient information.
- Maintains compliance with ARAMARK's standards of operation. Adheres to ARAMARK's Business Conduct Policy at all times. Maintains all records and reports to ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and codes.
- Adheres to Aramark safety policies and procedures including the use of proper personal protective gear and following proper infection control measures.
- Assists in training other employees.
- Experience in a healthcare setting is helpful, but not required.
- Needs to communicate fluently in the English language; bilingual or multilingual is a huge benefit.
- Ability to stay calm in a less than calm circumstance.
- Must be flexible and adaptable to change.
