Career Navigator

Career Navigator (Greenfield) Community Action Pioneer Valley is seeking a full-time (37.5 hours per week) Career Navigator. An exciting new Energy Workforce Development Program offering training and job placement with good paying jobs in the clean energy field with opportunities for credential stacking. The Career Navigator will develop compassionate and respectful relationships with participants using a strength-based, goal-oriented approach. The Career Navigator will conduct outreach and enrollment activities, provide job readiness training, case management, job search tools, educational support and job development for all participants. They will support them in their next steps and in overcoming barriers to those goals. Additionally, the Career Navigator develops relationships with employers throughout the region to support participants in securing full-time employment. Convenes quarterly the Advisory Committee meetings with employers and educators. The Career Navigator will spend time in the Weatherization lab and shadowing Energy Auditors/ Weatherization Techs. The Career Navigator is responsible for administrative tasks including maintaining case notes, data entry, document collection, and ensuring that program standards are maintained. Candidates must pass a CORI and have a reliable vehicle, and a safe driving record. Strong team, positive work environment, excellent training. $21.73-$23.05 depending on qualifications.
