Exempt Position Overview:
The Community Outreach Representative serves as a key liaison between the organization and the community to promote mental health and substance use services. This role focuses on building relationships, increasing awareness of available resources, reducing stigma, and connecting individuals and families to appropriate care. The position requires strong communication skills, cultural competence, and a passion for community-based behavioral health work. This is a full-time position.Specific Responsibilities:
Build andmaintainrelationships with community partners, including schools, healthcare providers, social service agencies, and local coalitions Conduct outreach activities to increase awareness of mental health and substance use services Representthe organization at community events, health fairs, meetings, and workshops Deliver presentations and educational sessions on mental health, substance use prevention, treatment options, and recovery supports Provide information and referrals to individuals and families seeking mental health or substance use services Assistcommunity members in navigating service systems and accessing care Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local behavioral health and social service resources Adhere to confidentiality and privacy regulations (e.g., HIPAA) Follow organizational policies, ethical standards, and safety guidelinesEducation and Experience:
BS degree in Healthcare, Business, Social Work, or related field (preferred) Experience in Mental Health or Addiction services Experience with KIPU or other EMRs (preferred) Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint Excellent communication skills and a friendly, approachable personalityPreferred Qualifications:
Experience in the Health Care and Social Assistance industry Knowledge of CRM software and sales automation tools Experience with consultative selling and solution-based sales approachesCore Competency Requirements:

This job operates in a professional office environment. It routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee is occasionally required to stand, sit, walk, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 25 pounds.
