Prevail RCM is a growing revenue cycle company based in Pearland, Texas. We are in search of knowledgeable, self-motivated, and innovative healthcare professionals who are excited to help us grow an empire with limitless opportunities.
Position Summary:
The Patient Advocate is responsible for maintaining patient rights by educating patients; responding to patient and patient family complaints; resolving patient issues; reporting unresolved issues.
Responsibilities:
Resolves inbound calls/complaints by listening to patients and their families. Documents complaints in the Practice Management Software. Makes outbound calls to patients regarding open balances. Create payment plans or offer other financial assistance to patients to resolve balances. Negotiate balances to recover as much payment as possible. Handles patient callbacks from voicemail messages received.
Qualifications for this position include:
Must speak Spanish. Professional customer service skills. Excellent verbal/written communication skills. Must Type 45 WPM. Out of Network Benefits Knowledge. HIPPA Knowledge is a must to protect the patient identity. Training is provided. Professional phone etiquette. Must be able to multi-task. Must be able to interpret and reconcile explanation of payments, and posting summary in Practice Management Software System.
