Job Description

Join our team as a Nurse Care Navigator , a pivotal role supporting Physician Reviewers and ensuring injured workers receive timely, appropriate care. This is a full-time opportunity with flexibility, requiring one day a week in the office. In this role, you will: Support clinical decision-making by assisting Physician Reviewers in determining the right level of care when needed. Manage case flow by taking return calls when case management calls don't occur as scheduled. Step in seamlessly to cover claims staff during medical case management calls and to back up the Medical Treatment Review Specialist. Advocate for workers by guiding enrolled workers who need extra help navigating the workers' compensation system. We're looking for someone who is: Detail- and deadline-driven , with excellent organizational and prioritization skills. Adaptable , able to juggle diverse responsibilities and adjust to shifting needs. A skilled communicator , capable of handling sensitive conversations with tact across a wide variety of personalities. A problem-solver , who thrives on finding solutions and bringing clarity to complex situations. Qualifications:
Current Oregon Registered Nurse license or equivalent 3 years of workers' compensation, clinical and/or case management experience Demonstrated success building and maintaining mutually beneficial internal and external relationships Orthopedic or occupational medicine experience is a plus Case management certification is preferred, but not required If this sounds like something you are interested in pursuing; please submit your resume and cover letter to be considered for this opportunity.
