Job Description
Patient Advocate Rooted in clinical excellence and innovation, The Heart House has served the community for over 30 years, offering a comprehensive range of services from preventive screenings to complex cardiac procedures. The Patient Advocate serves as the first point of contact for patients calling our Access Center, ensuring a seamless scheduling experience and providing exceptional customer service with every interaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Answer all incoming phone calls to the Access Center Schedule office appointments, testing, and hospital procedures for patients Verify and update patient demographics during scheduling Monitor and respond to voicemails, texts, fax server messages, web portal inquiries, and physician communications Work outstanding orders and follow up as needed Direct calls to appropriate departments or personnelQualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent Customer service experience required Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Compassionate, patient-focused attitudeTraining:

Comprehensive training will be provided, and candidates may be required to complete on-site training at our Haddon Heights, NJ office as part of the onboarding process. We reserve the right to call you back into the office for additional training for each department.
