Qualified candidates must demonstrate effective communication skills and the ability to work in a fast pace hospital environment. Preferred candidates should have 1-2 years of experience working with governmental programs and be familiar with basic medical terminology. Must be able to work in the DFW area. Competitive pay with great benefits. Bilingual preferred, but not required.
Essential job duties:
Must be compassionate and caring individual Assist in completing necessary documentation/applications for benefits Actively participate in daily/weekly Case Management meetings Must be able to maintain assigned workload Must collaborate with Case Management, Financial Counselors, Nurses, Doctors and Business office personnel. Must be able to work with external government agencies Must have basic computer skills to document and look up information in the hospital system Must conduct home/field visits as required Must have excellent communication skills Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Some college work preferred Prior hospital experience 1+ years Experience working State and Federal programs Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours a day Must be able to lift at least 25 pounds Must have active valid driver's license Must have excellent communication skills, Orally and written Must have reliable transportation and proof of insurance Must be able to pass a background check
