Job Description
Patient Transporter - Mercy Hospital NWA - Part-Time Mercy paid time off United States, Arkansas, Rogers 2710 South Rife Medical Lane (Show on map) May 07, 2026
Find your calling at Mercy! Transports patients and equipment to and from various departments within the Medical Center. Performs various patient related activities, as assigned. Patients are transported in a safe manner and proper body mechanics are utilized at all times. Maintains PAR levels for equipment in various locations throughout the Medical Center. Continuously shows the ability to work well with other co-workers (both within the Patient Transportation Department and other departments). Uses Epic software to track each patient's location as they travel to and from designated areas throughout the facility. Uses Epic software to to track equipment movement throughout the facility.

Two (2) years of customer service experience Healthcare or hospital-based experience beneficialCertifications:
Required:
BLS for Healthcare Providers (CPR and AED)Other Requirements:
Ability to work independently while maintaining accountability and teamwork Comfortable handling sensitive situations, including deceased patients and bereaved families Professional appearance and conduct in accordance with hospital policy Ability to use hospital technology systems (Epic, pager, transport logs) Physical Requirements Regularly push, pull, and/or lift up to 50 pounds Prolonged standing and walking throughout each shift Frequent gripping, reaching, bending, kneeling, twisting, and squatting to safely transport and assist patients and equipment Why Mercy?
