ENL Patient Monitor Program Compensation range: $19.84 - $25.40 Your rate of pay will be based on applicable experience

Under the supervision of the Registered Nurse, the Patient Monitor may give patient care in the Enloe Medical Center Nursing Units and Emergency Department. They provide psychological supportive services, perform safety checks and assist the patients with activities of daily living. Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, the Patient Monitor provides a safety function for the nurse by providing therapeutic care to the confused, combative or mentally ill patient. The Patient Monitor collaborates with other members of the patient care team to provide care in accordance with the plan of care. The Patient Monitor supports and contributes to the service excellence mission of Enloe Medical Center. The Patient Monitor may need to administer CPR to patients in an emergency situation.EDUCATION / TRAINING / EXPERIENCE

Must demonstrate communication skills and sensitivity for the hospitalized patient and family including those with psychological needs. Must be able to maintain strict confidentiality at all times. Must be able to fulfill the essential functions of the position.
