Job Description

POSITION PURPOSE AND SUMMARY
: A Patient Companion facilitates the provision of close patient monitoring and surveillance for a patient who is classified as actively a danger to self and/or others. A Patient Companion performs specific tasks and functions as delegated by the Registered Nurse/Practical Nurse and according to established practices and procedures.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
: Completion of high school level course work preferred. Good verbal and communication skills Adult Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days of hire

Restraint Staffing Schedule:
PRN, Days/Evenings/Nights, 3pm-11:30pm
