Facilitator Digestive Care of Evansville, PC - 5.0 Newburgh, IN Job Details 1 day ago Qualifications BLS Certification High school diploma or GED Full Job Description Digestive Care Center is seeking a Facilitator in our Evansville Endoscopy Center. The Facilitator assists with admission and recovery of patients. This position is also responsible for stocking supplies, assistance with procedure room turnaround and terminal room clean. What You Need for this
Position:
High school Diploma or equivalent required. BLS Certification required within 6 months of hire. Maintains BLS Certification. Medical office experience preferred.
What You Will Be Doing:
Obtains and documents pertinent information in pre-procedure record including procedure consents and document. Ensures that patient is dressed appropriately for procedure. Obtains patient vital signs and place appropriately in chart. Performs blood sugar testing, pregnancy test/waiver, and enemas if necessary. Locates and prepares all IV supplies needed for admission process. Completes admission process in an efficient manner while maintaining patient privacy. Alerts appropriate staff of any patient concerns. Assists patient to restroom to change out of procedure gowns. Per RN's instructions, assists patient and family to exit or discharge patient in wheelchair. If necessary, directs patient to check-out for post-procedure orders/appointments. Strips bed of used linens, cleans bed with hydrogen peroxide wipes, and redresses bed with clean linens. Empties linen hampers when needed. Wipes monitor cords and blood pressure cuff after each patient is discharged.
