Lansing, MI Job Description General Purpose of Job :

Perform general cleaning of the Perioperative Care Unit. With occasional transport of patients.

Essential Duties :

This job description is intended to cover the minimum essential duties assigned on a regular basis. Caregivers may be asked to perform additional duties as assigned by their leader. Leadership has the right to alter or modify the duties of the position. Completes daily cleaning of rooms, including washing stretchers for surgical patients. Cleans general work spaces on the Unit. Cleans isolation Rooms between patients. Stocks patient rooms. Cleans equipment and documents daily. Daily terminal cleaning of patient bays and patient care areas. Changes curtains as scheduled and as needed Transports patients Distribute oxygen tanks in department Reports to Manager or Charge RN. Job Requirements General Requirements

• 6 months experience in the Perioperative Care Unit as an EVS tech or direct patient care Education
• High School Diploma or GED. Specialized Knowledge and Skills
• Maintains hospital standards of participating in mandatory in-services and mandatory Hospital/ Departmental requirements.
• Demonstrates ability to use a keyboard as may be required to perform the essential duties of the job.
