Job Description

Position Summary The Patient Escorter-Transporter II is an integral member of the patient care team. This position is responsible for ensuring the provision of quality patient care and safety during transport of patients through utilization of safety devices Position Description and close observation. During the transport of cardiac monitored patients, he/she will ensure safe patient monitoring during transport and trouble shoot cardiac monitors' alarms, parameters and equipment Minimum Requirements High School graduate or equivalent or higher degree is required. EKG/ECG interpretation class Greater than 1 year in a Healthcare setting is preferred Basic computer skills are required Cardiovascular Monitor Tech Certification is required Current American Heart Association Heart Saver or higher required.
