Companion :

Previous Experience as a P atient Companion preferred The Patient Companion provides non-medical support and companionship to patients in hospitals, care facilities, or home settings. This role is essential for ensuring patient safety, emotional well-being, and comfort, especially for individuals who require close observation or are at risk of isolation. Companionship & Emotional Support Engage in friendly conversation and provide an empathetic ear. Offer reassurance and emotional comfort during hospital stays or recovery periods. Help reduce feelings of loneliness, anxiety, and depression. Safety & Supervision Monitor patients to prevent falls, wandering, or self-harm. Observe and report changes in behavior or condition to medical staff. Ensure patients follow medical advice, such as avoiding unsupervised movement post-surgery.
