Per Diem Summary Provides assistance to technologists with tasks necessary for the general management and organization of the department, being flexible, meeting patient and/or department needs while ensuring all Radiology safety protocols are followed. Performs direct and indirect patient care as determined/delegated by a licensed technologist or nurse and facilitates the safe transport of patients to and from their respective units. Key Responsibilities Stock the room appropriately while rotating supplies based on expiration dates, including Emergency response equipment Ensures that all regulatory logs are completed daily Uses team effort to accomplish room turnover within acceptable timeframes. Primarily responsible for the cleanliness and safety of the environment for staff and patients. Safely and efficiently transports patients to and from the department in a safe manner, according to hospital standards. Assists with the ambulation, transferring, or lifting of patients Performs clerical duties, including filing, faxing, and scanning documents. Answers and returns phone calls, completes safety screening forms/history forms, and communicates with the care team as needed. Provides safe and competent care for patients with a relationship to elimination & hygiene needs, including bathing and changing bed linens as needed while the patient is in the Radiology department. Demonstrates compassion and any other kind of support needed for the patient and the patient's family members Demonstrates mission and values of the organization Performs other duties as assigned. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
H•Heavy Work•Exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Requires constant walking, standing or squatting.
PAY RANGE
$17.25•$19.00 The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be modified in the future. Pay is determined by factors including experience, clinical licensure date, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
