Job Overview Join our dedicated team as a Stretcher Transport professional, where your energy and compassion will make a vital difference in patient care. In this role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting patients on stretchers between hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare facilities. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will ensure patients are moved comfortably and securely, supporting their journey to receive the care they need. This position offers an engaging opportunity to contribute to a dynamic healthcare environment while developing valuable skills in patient transportation and safety. Responsibilities Safely transfer patients on stretchers between medical facilities, ensuring their comfort and security throughout the process Assist with patient positioning and immobilization as needed to prevent injury during transport Communicate clearly with healthcare staff to coordinate patient handoffs and relay relevant information about patient condition Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of stretchers and transportation equipment in compliance with health standards Follow established protocols for patient handling, including infection control procedures and safety guidelines Monitor patient well-being during transit, responding promptly to any signs of distress or discomfort Document transport details accurately in logs or electronic records, including any incidents or observations Requirements Prior experience in home & community care or hospital settings is highly desirable Valid certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or equivalent is required Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate patient care during transport Experience working within hospital environments or critical care transport settings is preferred Strong physical stamina to lift, move, and assist patients safely over extended periods Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with healthcare teams and patients Ability to follow detailed safety protocols and handle emergency situations confidently This role is an excellent fit for motivated individuals eager to support patient well-being through active, hands-on transportation. Pay:
$15.50 - $17.00 per hour Application Question(s): Drug test, Level 2 background check
