Here's What You Need:
- H.S. Diploma or Equivalent Preferred
- 6 Months related experience Preferred or
- 6 Months customer service Preferred.
- BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Required.
- Ability to make independent decisions while maintaining tact, maturity, and a professional attitude.
- Excellent verbal communication.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
- Knowledge of Windows/PC helpful.
- Proactive problem solving; good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills; advanced computer skills; time management.
What You Will Do:
- Transport patients by the appropriate method to and from all patient care areas.
- Deliver and pick up patient care equipment, supplies, mail, patient concierge services and other supporting items throughout the hospital.
- Maintain par levels and cleans equipment in designated areas.
- Adhere to Body Substance Isolation Universal Precaution Policy.
- Willingly accept additional duties and tasks assigned by leadership. Additional perks of being a Texas Health Employee
