We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Patient Transporter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting patients to and from healthcare facilities, ensuring comfort and care throughout the process. This role is vital in supporting patient flow, reducing wait times, and enhancing overall patient experience. Candidates should possess strong patient care skills and a commitment to maintaining a safe environment for both patients and staff. Responsibilities Safely transport patients to and from various departments of different hospitals or healthcare facility, including diagnostic imaging, treatment areas, and patient rooms. Assist patients with mobility needs, including transferring from beds to wheelchairs or stretchers, while adhering to proper lifting and safety protocols. Monitor patient condition during transport, communicating any concerns to medical staff promptly. Ensure all transport equipment is clean, functional, and properly stored after use. Follow infection control procedures andmaintaina clean environment during all transportation activities. Provide compassionate support to patients, addressing their comfort and safety needs throughout the transfer process. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to prioritize patient movement based on clinical urgency. Requirements Driver must have drivers license and clean driving record Previous experience in home & community care or hospital settings is preferred. Strong understanding of patient care principles and safety protocols. Experience with critical care transport is a plus. Ability to handle physically demanding tasks, including lifting and assisting patients with mobility challenges. Excellent communication skills and a compassionate demeanor. Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team in a fast-paced environment. Must be reliable, punctual, and committed to providing high-quality patient support.
