Overview Sonora Behavioral Health is Tucson's leading behavioral health hospital with 140 beds. Our hospital serves children, adolescents, and adults in an acute hospital setting. We are seeking passionate, hard-working, and skilled individuals to join our team of professionals.

PURPOSE STATEMENT

Plan and supervise Yoga activities for patients. Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Maintain all related equipment.
• Document patient participation in the session and the progress with treatment goals.
• Assist in developing individualized yoga/fitness programs for patients.
• Communicate as needed with program staff.
• Demonstrate a positive, empathetic and professional attitude towards customers always.

When patient needs are not met, acknowledge and work to resolve complaints. Recognize that patient safety is a top priority.

OTHER FUNCTIONS

• Perform other functions and tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS

Completion of a vocational training or certificate program in yoga instruction required. Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card required. CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility). First aid may be required based on state or facility.
