RESPONSIBILITIES OF A GROUP FITNESS INSTRUCTOR

Motivate and lead class participants through fun, enjoyable classes Create positive lasting memories for each participant, each day This is not an exhaustive list of job duties. Other duties, responsibilities and activities may be assigned.

REQUIREMENTS TO BE A GROUP FITNESS INSTRUCTOR

: Minimum age 18. Must enjoy teaching others. Current state approved First Aid, CPR/AED Certificate. A positive energetic attitude with the ability to motivate others. Current nationally recognized group fitness instructor certificate (e.g.

ACE, AFAA YMCA

Group Fitness Instructor, ACSM or National Exercise Trainers Association only). Must have a current instructor certification in Zumba, Jazzercise, MixxedFit or any similar style of dance group fitness.
