Both locations are established in the community with engaged member bases who know the method and show up consistently. Anaheim Hills has been operating for 15 years and Brea for 10 years. The studios are about seven miles apart on Imperial Highway, and most of our instructors teach at both locations. We are actively adding teachers to the team and would love to hear from you if you have group fitness, barre, or studio teaching experience, or if you are a strong performer ready to step into the Pure Barre brand. About Pure Barre and the method Pure Barre is the largest barre franchise globally, celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2026, with over 600 locations. The method combines small isometric movements, light strength training, and stretching, set to music, to build lean strength and full-body conditioning. Classes are 50 minutes long and host up to 20 members. Our instructors are part teacher, part performer, part coach, and members keep coming back day after day and week after week because of the connection an instructor builds in those 50 minutes. Musicality is at the heart of the role Every Pure Barre class is choreographed to music. The best instructors layer their cueing, technique, and energy directly into the beat, carrying the room through every transition. We want teachers who feel music in their body, who can count an 8-count without thinking about it, and who bring the music alive for members through their voice and pacing. A background in dance, cheerleading, gymnastics, vocal or instrumental music, or any practice involving moving precisely on the beat is a strong indicator, though not required. If you have always been the one in the group who hears the music differently and can lead others through it, this role is for you. What you would be doing Teaching Pure Barre Classic, our foundational format. New instructors begin with Classic and become eligible to train in additional formats (Empower, Define, Reform, Align) after 3 to 6 months of consistent, strong performance teaching Classic. Teaching 2 to 4 class blocks per week, with each block typically running 2 to 4 classes Class times run 6 to 11 AM and 4 to 7 PM on weekdays, plus weekend mornings Available to pick up sub classes for teammates when your schedule allows Learning quarterly choreography updates released by Pure Barre corporate Participating in team trainings, feedback sessions, and ongoing development Who we are looking for Strong sense of musicality and timing (the core differentiator at Pure Barre) Comfortable counting an 8-count and cueing transitions on the beat Reliable, professional, and respectful with the team and members Genuine interest in our members and their progress Willingness to take coaching and refine your teaching Physically able to demonstrate a full class, including hand weight work and full-body pushups, while maintaining energy across 50 minutes CPR/AED certified, or willing to obtain certification shortly after hire A minimum one-year teaching commitment after certification Compensation and benefits Compensation starts at $27 per class, with growth opportunities as you build experience and your regular class load Free unlimited Pure Barre membership at our studios while employed Employee discount on Pure Barre branded retail apparel Additional bonus opportunities for team contribution Training and certification Instructors new to Pure Barre complete Pure Barre's corporate training program, a virtual training that runs 4 to 6 weeks. The training includes weekly touchpoints with a Pure Barre corporate Master Teacher, plus 1 to 2 hours per week of in-studio coaching and practice with our studio Lead Instructor.
