We are seeking a highly motivated and knowledgeable Personal Trainer to join our Wellness Team. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic foundation in kinesiology or a related field, experience working with diverse populations—including older adults—and a passion for delivering safe, effective, and personalized training programs. This role goes beyond one-on-one training and includes opportunities to teach classes, lead workshops, and contribute to department initiatives.Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology or related field (required) Master's Degree in Kinesiology, Exercise Science, or related field (preferred) Nationally recognized Personal Training Certification (NASM, ACSM, NSCA, ACE, etc.) CPR/AED Certification (or ability to obtain prior to start) Proven experience working with elderly populations and a wide range of age groups Strong understanding of exercise programming, injury prevention, and corrective exercise Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsKey Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality 1:1 and small group personal training sessions Design safe and effective programs tailored to individual goals and needs Work confidently with special populations , including seniors and post-rehabilitation clients Teach group classes and assist with wellness programming Conduct and support educational workshops and member events Collaborate with the Wellness Director and team to support department initiatives Maintain a strong presence on the fitness floor, engaging and supporting members Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, safety, and member experienceSchedule Requirements:
Availability to work evenings and weekends is required Flexible schedule based on client needs and club programmingWhat We're Looking For:
