Duties Design and implement customized fitness programs tailored to individual client needs, goals, and fitness levels using your knowledge of anatomy and physiology Conduct engaging group fitness classes and physical education sessions that motivate participants and promote healthy lifestyles Provide expert guidance on proper body mechanics, exercise techniques, and injury prevention to ensure safe workout practices Assist members with membership inquiries, sign-ups, renewals, and upgrades through effective sales strategies and excellent customer service Track client progress, update training plans regularly, and motivate members to stay committed to their fitness journeys Maintain a clean, organized gym environment by ensuring equipment is properly used, sanitized, and stored after each session Stay current with industry trends by participating in ongoing education related to sports coaching, fitness sales, and health club best practices Experience Proven experience in personal training or group fitness instruction within a gym or health club setting Strong knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and body mechanics essential for designing effective workout programs Demonstrated ability to teach physical education or sports coaching with enthusiasm and clarity Excellent sales skills with a track record of increasing membership or client retention through persuasive communication Familiarity with fitness assessment tools and program design software is preferred Certification in personal training or related fitness disciplines is highly desirable; CPR/AED certification is a plus Prior experience in health club environments or gym operations will be advantageous for success in this role
