Group Fitness Instructor

Position Summary The Body Shop Health Club, Inc. is seeking a part-time group fitness instructor to cover scheduled classes Monday - Friday. Our timetable is now visible on http://www.thebodyshophealthclub.com Body Shop Built offers small group training classes, designed to build strength and achieve overall fitness. Classes run for approximately 35 minutes to 1 hour. The class location is 1130 N. Lemoore Avenue - right next door to our 24Hr facility. This position is part-time casual. Some hours are fixed (per class timetable), however option for additional classes/hours is negotiable. This position will start as temporary with potential for a permanent position.

Our Ideal Candidate:

1. Reports to work (prepared for class) 5 minutes before scheduled class start time. 2. Sets up and monitors class equipment - ensuring all items are in serviceable condition. 3. Has the ability to scale training programs to suit participants of all ages & fitness levels. 4. Has ability to modify training programs to tailor to individual injuries and/or health concerns. 5. Is knowledgeable in areas of fitness which include, but are not limited to, cardiovascular health, muscular strength, flexibility etc. 6. Can demonstrate proper form and use of fitness equipment. 7. Can foster a inclusive, fun, energizing, and encouraging environment. 8. Has an upbeat personality, inspirational vibes and ability to encourage those involved 9. Ability to perform miscellaneous cleaning duties, as required i.e. vacuuming of training space, cleaning mirrors, taking out trash etc.
