This class blends athletic movement, primal patterns, bodyweight training, mobility work, and instinctive movement into an energizing, music-driven experience that challenges participants while remaining accessible. PRIMAL is not traditional group fitness—it's movement done differently. Position Overview We're seeking an energetic, confident, and highly embodied PRIMAL Instructor to lead members through dynamic, full-body movement experiences that improve strength, coordination, mobility, and resilience. This role requires someone who can command a room, create a motivating environment, and guide participants through intentional movement patterns rooted in functional fitness, primal movement, and playful athleticism. Key Responsibilities Lead engaging, high-energy PRIMAL classes that reflect Cellevate's unique approach to functional movement Guide participants through bodyweight strength, mobility, primal patterns, locomotion, and athletic conditioning Create safe, effective, and challenging class experiences for a range of fitness levels Offer clear demonstrations, modifications, and form corrections Foster a strong sense of community, encouragement, and connection within the room Curate or follow music that enhances the class journey and energy Prioritize participant safety, proper movement mechanics, and studio standards Arrive prepared, professional, and aligned with Cellevate's mission and culture Collaborate with leadership on programming, class flow, and ongoing innovation Ideal Candidate Strong background in functional fitness, strength training, mobility, primal movement, calisthenics, personal training, or related disciplines Experience leading group fitness classes with confidence and presence Deep understanding of body mechanics, movement quality, and safe progression High energy, motivational leadership style, and strong communication skills Passion for movement, human performance, and community wellness Comfortable leading diverse groups and creating an inclusive environment CPR/AED certification preferred Group fitness, personal training, or related certifications are a plus Preferred Qualities Embodied leadership presence Athletic, playful, and adaptable teaching style Passion for innovation in movement Team-oriented mindset Alignment with Cellevate's mission of elevating physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing Physical Requirements Ability to actively demonstrate exercises and movement patterns Ability to lift, squat, crawl, lunge, and move dynamically for class duration Ability to thrive in a high-energy studio environment
