INSTRUCTOR

SALARY:

$23.92 - $33.55 per hour; depending on skills and experience. (The current salary range is subject to change. You may confirm the starting salary with the hiring department before accepting a job offer.)

AVAILABLE HOURS

0-20 hours Hours will depend on the number of classes the instructor is able to teach and class registration. Applicants must be available to work weekdays between 3pm-8pm and Saturdays between 10am-4pm. Applicants must be available for the duration of the session. Sessions last 8 weeks and are offered on a quarterly basis.

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES

Applicants will teach classes for children ages 3- 17 years. Applicants must have leadership skills, be organized, and be able to interact with the public in a positive and professional manner. Applicants will be selected based on knowledge of the class or classes they are teaching and must be able to explain and demonstrate methods they would use to plan and implement the class. Instructors will create lesson plans and provide instruction in one or more of the following class genres: Ballet Piano Martial Arts

QUALIFICATIONS

Applicants must be at least 18 years old and are expected to have prior experience teaching. Experience and knowledge of activity. Experience teaching children. Please include any certifications and/or trainings with your resume. Cantonese, Mandarin, Cambodian, Vietnamese, Spanish speaking preferred, but not required
