We are currently looking for part-time availability (15-25 hours per week) Our ideal coach: LOVES people & is the type of person who could talk to anyone Is full of positive energy and shows up to work with a smile on their face, no matter what's going on Is passionate about helping people be the healthiest and happiest version of themselves Gives each client what THEY need, not what YOU think they need Desires to have a long, stable career in group fitness with one company Is looking to always grow, get better and takes ownership of everything in their life Is driven to exceed expectations and go above and beyond Is willing to work hard. Not kind of hard, like really hard! In other words, we care more about WHO you are rather than WHAT you know (and so do our clients) What we are NOT looking for, people who are: Shy or timid in a group of people Drill sergeant type trainers who think harder workouts are better workouts Have an advanced degree but don't know how to make a client feel seen, heard and cared for Expects an easy job (cuts corners, does the bare minimum and isn't willing to do whatever the job requires and to help their team out) Negative, gossip, drama or complainers Wants to coach and leave, and not be involved in any other aspect of the community If any of these are you, please do NOT apply.
Job Responsibilities:
Confidently coach groups of 15-40 clients, ranging in fitness levels, through strength and met-con style workouts, both on a mic and 1:1 Clearly explain and demonstrate proper form Quickly fix form, give cues and modifications on the spot Attend a weekly team meeting and engage with your team to help drive the vision and mission forward Attend quarterly team development trainings to grow your hard and soft skills Additional roles are available in nutrition & accountability coaching & other aspects of the business Experience, skills and requirements: (REQUIRED) At least 1 year experience in Personal/Group Training (actual experience in a job
  • family & friends doesn't count) (Preferred) Have a valid Personal Trainer or Group Fitness Trainer certification (can help obtain) Current CPR certification Bring an unmatched level of enthusiasm & energy every day Demonstrate a high level of emotional intelligence Excellent understanding of client service Is a team player working towards a shared mission

COACHING SCHEDULE
  • Our workouts are offered during the following coaching blocks below
Morning Coaching Shift:
4:30am
  • 11am
Afternoon Coaching Shift:
4pm
  • 7:30pm
Saturday Coaching Shift:
7am
  • 10am Your actual schedule will be a mix of these & based on your availability + our needs You can also expect: 1 split shift max / week (work morning and afternoon shift in the same day) Rotating weekends off 1 clopen max / week (close a PM shift and open the next AM shift This is NOT an "instruct one class here and there" type of gym
  • you work full shifts, multiple sessions, are involved in the communtiy and get paid for all time working, not just "when you're training" (like most gyms) Sound like you?
