In this role, you may: design and deliver personalized fitness programs for 1:1 clients, work in small group settings leading fitness classes or injury-prevention sessions, work with our post-rehab employees that have had a workers compensation claim, lead fitness workshops, and more. Your expertise in physiology, anatomy, and body mechanics will be an integral part of this role. As a motivated educator, you will provide expert coaching and promote a positive, motivating environment that encourages lifelong healthy habits. Duties Develop customized training plans based on clients' goals, fitness levels, and medical histories, utilizing your knowledge of physiology and anatomy Lead one-on-one personal training sessions to guide clients through safe and effective exercise routines Conduct group fitness classes that motivate participants and foster a sense of community using engaging teaching techniques Educate clients on proper body mechanics, exercise techniques, and injury prevention strategies Track client progress regularly (may use SOAP notes), adjusting programs as needed to ensure continuous improvement Maintain a safe training environment by adhering to facility policies and ensuring equipment is used correctly Qualifications 4+ years of experience in personal training, group fitness instruction, or sports coaching within a gym or health club setting Strong knowledge of human physiology, anatomy, and body mechanics to design effective workout programs Ability to teach physical education concepts clearly and motivate diverse groups of individuals Excellent communication skills and ability to progress and regress effectively Nationally-accredited (e.g., NASM, ACE) certification in personal training required Bilingual in Spanish a plus
