In this dynamic role, you'll lead engaging Judo classes that promote discipline, respect, and teamwork while ensuring a safe and inclusive environment. Your passion for martial arts and experience working with diverse groups will help foster a love for physical activity and personal growth in every student. Duties Plan and deliver engaging Judo training sessions tailored to different skill levels, from beginners to advanced practitioners Demonstrate proper techniques, throws, holds, and safety protocols to ensure effective learning and injury prevention Monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, and motivate participants to achieve their personal best Maintain a safe training environment by enforcing behavior management policies and promoting respectful conduct among students Collaborate with other sports coaches and instructors to integrate cross-training activities such as Karate, Swimming, or Climbing when appropriate Organize competitions or demonstrations to showcase students' skills and boost confidence Ensure all equipment is well-maintained, sanitized, and ready for use at each session Requirements Proven experience in martial arts disciplines such as Judo, Karate, or other combat sports; Lifeguard experience or sports coaching background is a plus Strong teaching skills with the ability to work effectively with children and youth of varying ages and skill levels Knowledge of behavior management techniques to foster a positive learning environment Familiarity with physical education principles and safety standards in sports instruction Ability to demonstrate techniques clearly while maintaining high energy levels and enthusiasm during classes Certification in first aid or CPR is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to obtain if not already certified Passion for promoting health, fitness, and personal development through martial arts training Join us in creating an energetic atmosphere where students thrive physically, mentally, and socially!
