Job Description

Job Summary We're seeking an energetic, welcoming Barre Instructor to lead fun, result driven classes, where you will inspire students through dynamic workouts that sculpt and strengthen the body. You'll create safe, motivating workouts for all levels, cue proper form, offer hands-on adjustments, and foster a positive studio community. Ideal candidates are enthusiastic teachers with strong knowledge of barre technique, excellent communication skills, and the ability to adapt choreography and modifications. As a key member of our team, you'll deliver engaging classes that utilize Barre format, and functional training to help clients achieve their fitness goals. Your passion for movement and dedication to health will motivate members to push their limits while enjoying a fun, supportive environment. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to share your expertise and make a positive impact on our members' wellness journeys. Duties Plan and teach engaging 60 minute Barre classes for mixed-level participants Cue alignment, provide modifications and progressions, and offer hands-on corrections safely Create a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere and build rapport with students Arrive early to set up equipment, manage class flow, and handle basic studio tasks Promote studio events, workshops, and class packages as needed Maintain current CPR/First Aid and any required certifications Design diverse workout programs tailored to different fitness levels, emphasizing proper form, core engagement, and flexibilit Foster a motivating atmosphere by encouraging members, tracking progress, and celebrating achievements Maintain a clean, organized studio environment, ensuring equipment is sanitized and ready for use Engage in ongoing professional development related to anatomy knowledge Skills Barre instructor certification or equivalent training; required 1+ years teaching experience (or strong studio/practicum experience) Excellent verbal cuing, interpersonal skills, and ability to adapt choreography for varying abilities Reliable, punctual, and professional; comfortable using music and basic sound equipment Strong understanding of body mechanics, anatomy, physiology, and how they relate to effective workout design Excellent communication skills to instruct clearly and motivate diverse groups of participants Passion for health promotion and helping others achieve their fitness goals through engaging instruction Familiarity with studio operations and customer service principles related to health clubs and/or studios.
