Job Description
Job Summary We are looking for a passionate and motivated Yoga Instructor to join our group fitness team. The ideal candidate creates a welcoming and inclusive environment while leading safe, engaging, and effective yoga classes for a variety of fitness and experience levels. In this role, you will create a welcoming environment where individuals can improve their physical health and mental clarity through expertly guided sessions. Your expertise in yoga techniques, anatomy, and body mechanics will help clients achieve their fitness goals while fostering a positive community atmosphere. Morning availability is most important for this position, though evening availability is also welcome as we continue growing our fitness schedule. Duties Lead yoga classes for participants of varying skill levels Provide movement modifications and proper instruction when needed Create a positive, calming, and encouraging class atmosphere Arrive prepared and on time for scheduled classes Communicate professionally with staff and participants Help grow participation and member engagement within the program Qualifications Yoga instruction experience Certified Yoga Instructor Demonstrated experience in group fitness instruction with strong teaching skills CPR/AED certification (within 4-6 weeks) Strong communication and leadership skills Ability to connect with and motivate participants Reliable, professional, and team-oriented
