Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic, energetic, and motivated Pilates- Floor Instructor to join our vibrant fitness team. In this role, you will lead engaging Pilates classes focused on core strength, flexibility, and overall body awareness. The ideal candidate is passionate about health and wellness, creates a welcoming environment for all fitness levels, and can lead safe, effective, and engaging Floor Pilates classes. Morning and evening availability is preferred, as we are looking to continue expanding our group fitness offerings. Your expertise will inspire members to achieve their fitness goals while ensuring a safe, motivating, and inclusive environment. Responsibilities Lead floor Pilates classes for a variety of fitness levels Create a positive, motivating, and inclusive class environment Demonstrate proper form and movement modifications when needed Arrive prepared and on time for scheduled classes Communicate professionally with staff and participants Help build class participation and member engagement Educate clients on body mechanics, physiology, anatomy, and the benefits of Pilates for overall health. Collaborate with other fitness professionals to develop integrated training plans that include elements of yoga, cycling, CrossFit, or personal training when appropriate. Promote a positive gym environment by engaging with members, supporting their progress, and encouraging ongoing participation in fitness programs. Qualifications Proven experience teaching Pilates or similar group fitness classes in a gym or health club setting. Current nationally recognized certification CPR/AED certification (within 4-6 weeks) Strong communication and leadership skills Ability to motivate and connect with participants Reliable, professional, and team-oriented Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, body mechanics, and exercise science principles. Familiarity with program design tailored to different fitness levels and goals. Background in dance, sports coaching, or other movement disciplines such as yoga or cycling is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills with the ability to instruct clearly and motivate effectively.
Pay:
$19.00 - $28.00 per hour
