Overview We are seeking an energetic and passionate Group Exercise Instructor to lead dynamic Yoga, Pilates, or Barre classes that motivate and inspire participants. This paid role offers an exciting opportunity to design engaging workouts, foster a positive group atmosphere, and promote healthy living within our vibrant health club community. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set in various fitness disciplines and enjoy creating fun, effective classes for diverse audiences. Duties Lead group exercise classes such as Yoga, Pilates, and Barre workouts Develop innovative program plans that incorporate body mechanics, physiology principles, and anatomy knowledge to ensure safe and effective training sessions Demonstrate proper exercise techniques and provide modifications to accommodate all fitness levels Foster an inclusive environment that encourages motivation, camaraderie, and personal achievement among participants Promote upcoming classes and health programs to increase member engagement and participation Maintain equipment safety standards and ensure the cleanliness of the workout space Track attendance and gather feedback to continually improve class offerings Experience Proven experience in leading group fitness classes or personal training sessions with a focus on diverse modalities such as yoga, Pilates, cycling, or sports coaching Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, body mechanics, and exercise science principles Demonstrated ability to design effective fitness programs tailored to different skill levels and goals Excellent teaching skills with the ability to motivate and energize participants in a lively group setting Familiarity with gym equipment and safety protocols for various fitness activities including CrossFit and cycling classes Prior experience in health clubs or community fitness environments is preferred Certification in group fitness instruction or related disciplines such as Yoga certification, Pilates instructor certification, or Barre certification is highly desirable Join us to inspire others on their journey toward healthier living!
