Parkinsons Fitness Instructor

Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Group Fitness Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in various fitness disciplines and a strong commitment to helping individuals with Parkinson's Disease (PD) achieve their health and wellness goals. Our specialized program slows the progression of PD through the use of our research based high intensity functional interval training. Specialized training will be provided. Pay $25

• 35/hour, depending upon experience.

Duties:

• Lead fitness classes in a dynamic and engaging manner
• Implement effective workout programs tailored to individual needs
• Provide guidance on proper exercise techniques and form
• Motivate and inspire clients to reach their fitness objectives
• Educate participants on the benefits of different exercise modalities
• Potential to teach online classes, in addition to in-person classes in the Hartford, CT area
• Ensure the safety of all participants during classes

Availability:

Tuesday & Thursday 11:30am-12:30pm Online classes available

Required Skills:

• Experience in leading group fitness classes
• Nationally recognized fitness certification
• Ability to educate clients on the importance of fitness

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Background in fitness or sports coaching (will consider PTs and OTs)
