Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Aerial Fitness Instructor to join our vibrant boutique fitness studio. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in group fitness instruction, a strong background in various fitness disciplines, and a flair for motivating participants. This role involves designing engaging aerial fitness programs that incorporate elements of dance, yoga, Pilates, and other fitness modalities to create a comprehensive and enjoyable experience for clients of all levels. The instructor will play a key role in fostering a supportive environment that promotes health, wellness, and personal growth. Responsibilities Lead engaging aerial fitness classes that incorporate elements of dance, yoga, Pilates, and/or other fitness techniques such as recovery-based hammock work. Develop and modify program routines based on participant needs and skill levels, ensuring safety and effectiveness. Demonstrate proper techniques related to body mechanics, physiology, anatomy, and movement to enhance participant understanding and performance. Motivate and inspire participants to achieve their fitness goals through effective teaching methods and positive reinforcement. Maintain a safe environment by adhering to studio safety protocols and providing clear instructions on equipment use. Promote the studio's services and programs to encourage member engagement and retention. Stay current with industry trends in group fitness, aerial arts, and wellness practices through ongoing education. Requirements Active certification to use aerial arts as a fitness instructor (we have Antigravity hammocks). Active CPR & First Aid certification. Active personal liability insurance as an instructor. Proven experience in group fitness instruction. Strong understanding of physiology, anatomy, body mechanics, and program design tailored to diverse populations. Excellent teaching skills with the ability to motivate participants of all skill levels in a supportive manner. Background or certification in aerial arts or similar disciplines is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm for learning is essential. Knowledge of fitness sales techniques to promote programs effectively is a plus. Prior experience working in gyms or health clubs is advantageous. Ability to demonstrate professionalism, reliability, and excellent communication skills. Passion for health and wellness with a commitment to helping clients achieve their personal fitness goals.
