Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor to join our studio. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in physiology, anatomy, and body mechanics, with the ability to design effective fitness programs tailored to individual and group needs. This role offers an exciting opportunity to inspire clients, promote health and wellness, and contribute to a positive gym environment. Candidates should have experience in personal training, group fitness instruction, and sales within a fitness setting. A passion for teaching physical education and sports coaching is highly valued. Responsibilities Develop and implement personalized training programs based on clients' goals, fitness levels, and health conditions. Lead engaging group fitness classes that motivate participants and ensure proper technique and safety. Educate clients on body mechanics, physiology, and anatomy to enhance their understanding of exercise benefits. Monitor client progress and adjust programs accordingly to optimize results. Provide exceptional customer service by building rapport with clients, addressing their concerns, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. Promote membership sales and fitness services through effective communication and sales techniques. Ensure the cleanliness and safety of the environment at all times. Stay current with industry trends, certifications, and best practices in personal training and group fitness instruction. Experience Proven experience in personal training or group fitness instruction within a health club or gym setting. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, body mechanics, and program design principles. Demonstrated ability to teach physical education or coach sports effectively. Experience in fitness sales or promoting gym memberships is preferred. Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate diverse groups of clients. Certification in personal training or group fitness instruction from a recognized organization is highly desirable. Experience with osteoporosis, balance/stability and total joint replacements for older populations is desired.
